In preparation for the upcoming winter season, the Jasper Street Department will be setting up and testing its salt spreaders and snowplows on Tuesday, October 14. Crews will also be driving their designated routes to familiarize themselves and note any changes since last winter. The department is asking motorists to give the trucks plenty of space while traveling, just as they would during an actual snow event.
