Actors Community Theatre (ACT) announces additional paid production staff opportunities for its upcoming performances of Legally Blonde: The Musical. The performances will be held on July 23-26, 2026 at the Jasper Arts Center. 

ACT is currently looking to fill the following paid positions: Set Build/Design Lead, Lighting Director, Sound Director, Stage Manager, and Choreographer

The Set Build/Design Lead is responsible for designing and creating onstage environments that support the artistic vision of the production and reflect the spaces outlined in the script. This role oversees the construction of scenic elements, coordinates volunteers assisting with the build process, and ensures all safety, budgetary, and facility guidelines are followed.

The Lighting Director is responsible for developing and executing a lighting design that enhances the production’s artistic vision. Duties include creating a lighting plot, leading hang and focus sessions, programming lighting cues, and maintaining lighting operations throughout the run of the show.

The Sound Director is responsible for developing and executing a sound design that supports the production’s artistic vision. This includes determining equipment needs, creating and managing sound cues, and maintaining sound operations throughout the production.

The Stage Manager supports the Director by coordinating rehearsal schedules and spaces, assisting during rehearsals, and helping manage performances. This role serves as a liaison between the cast and Director, communicates important updates, and ensures the smooth operation of the production process.

The Choreographer collaborates with the Director to enhance the production through blocking and dance. This role is responsible for creating choreography and leading dance rehearsals.
