Clara Bailey Olear, age 92, of Evansville, formerly of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away at 3:50 p.m., Monday, August 26, 2019, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.

            She was born July 18, 1927, in Warrick County, Indiana, to Roscoe and Hester (Brammer) Carnahan.  Clara graduated from Huntingburg High School; worked as a reflexology therapist; and was a member of the United Methodist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Olear; two brothers, Clyde Carnahan and Lloyd Carnahan; one sister, Mary Ellen Blume; and one grandson, Evan Bailey.

            She is survived by two children, Fran Johnson of Jasper and Wayne Bailey of Evansville; three grandchildren, Rachel (Chris) Uebelhor of Jasper, Luke (Danielle) Bailey of Evansville and David Bailey of Evansville; and two great-grandchildren, Kelby and Kalea Uebelhor.

            Funeral services for Clara Bailey Olear will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg.  Pastor Lee Campbell will officiate at the service.

            Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home from 2:00-8:00 p.m., E.D.T., on Friday, August 30th.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Huntingburg United Methodist Church.  Condolences may be shared online at www.nassandson.com
