Robert L. Stetter, age 74, of Huntingburg, passed away at 8:10 p.m., onWednesday, October 28, 2015, at the Indiana University Health Medical Center in Indianapolis.

Robert Stetter hi res Obituary photo497_edited-1He was born May 8, 1941 in Huntingburg, Indiana, to Valentine and Delores (Hackman) Stetter.  Robert was a farmer and worked for Kimball International.  He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church; enjoyed gardening; and served in the United States Army as a military policeman at White Sands, New Mexico.  Robert was preceded in death by his parents; one brother-in-law, Edwin Hopf; and one sister-in-law, Sandy Stetter.

He is survived by:

Two sisters,

Frances Hopf of Huntingburg, Ind.,

Mary Ann Stetter of Huntingburg, Ind.;

Three brothers and one sister-in-law,

Raymond Stetter of Huntingburg, Ind.,

Charles Stetter of Huntingburg, Ind.,

James “Shortie” (spouse, Mary Kay) Stetter of Huntingburg, Ind.;

and by nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Robert Stetter will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., onSaturday, October 31, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Huntingburg.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 4:00-8:00 p.m., on Friday; and also from 8:30-9:30 a.m., Saturday.  A parish rosary prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m., Friday evening, at the funeral home.  Condolences may be shared online at:  www.nassandson.com.
