Jeffrey D. Perry, age 37, of St. Henry, Indiana, formerly of Huntingburg, had his life taken from him on Sunday morning, January 10, 2016, at his residence.

CSC_1306_edited-1            He was born May 20, 1978 in Evansville, Indiana, to Bob and Barbara (Kendall) Perry.  Jeff graduated from Southridge High School in 1996 and was currently employed as a construction worker with Elite Environmental Services in Evansville.  He was a proud member of Laborers Local #561; attended the Christian Church of Jasper; was a sports fan of the Bears, Cubs, I.U., and grudgingly Purdue – since this is his daughter’s alma mater; and enjoyed golfing, motorcycle riding, and living life to the fullest.

Bob and Barbara Perry of Huntingburg, Ind.;

His daughter,

Phylicia Mendel who is currently attending Purdue University in Lafayette, Ind.;

His girlfriend,

Kristin Hodge of Newburgh, Ind.;

One brother and sister-in-law,

Tobin (Charissa) Perry of Seattle, Washington;

One sister and brother-in-law,

Melissa (John) Niehaus of Bretzville, Ind.;

by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services for Jeffrey D. Perry will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.S.T., onFriday, January 15, 2016, at the Christian Church of Jasper in Jasper, Indiana, followed by burial at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg.  Pastor Darrel Land will officiate at the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., E.S.T., on Thursday; and also at the Christian Church of Jasper one hour prior to the funeral service on Friday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Jeff Perry Scholarship Fund, C/O German American Bank, which is designated for his daughter’s nursing education at Purdue University.  Condolences may be shared online at:  www.nassandson.com.
