Romilda E. Goepferich, 88 of St. Meinrad died Friday April 22nd at her home. She was born October 10, 1927 in Ferdinand to Herman E. & Mary E. (Gehlhausen) Petry. She married Hubert Goepferich Jr. on June 24, 1947 in Saint Ferdinand Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on July 2, 2015.
Romilda enjoyed flowers, eating out, shopping, & family time with country music. She enjoyed playing the guitar and harmonica. She was an avid doll collector.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Elaine (Richard) Begle of Dale, Susan (John) Vaal of St. Meinrad, & Janet (Hilbert) Mullen of Ferdinand. 1 son, Hubert Jr. (Charlene) Goepferich of Cincinnati. Ten grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. 1 brother, Norbert Petry of Peru, In. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Alvin & Ervin Petry, and 2 sisters, Mildred Petry & Doretha Jochem.
