The world’s largest travel site – TripAdvisor.com – just announced the nation’s top water parks, with Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari very close to the top of that list.
Holiday World was named the #4 park in the nation and #13 in the world, following only Orlando parks in the U.S. rankings.
Park President, Matt Eckert, says votes for the TripAdvisor award came from visitors, who were impressed with not only the park’s line up of water rides, but also the friendliness of it’s staff.
Splashin’ Safari is home to the world’s two longest water coasters, Mammoth and Wildebeest, plus dozens of other water attractions, slides, wave pools, and children’s play areas. Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari have been voted the World’s Cleanest Park for 16 years in a row by the readers of Amusement Today magazine.
The parks will kick off the long holiday weekend Friday with a fireworks celebration each night through July 4th.
