Hospitalist Eric Hartman, M.D. was recently appointed to the Active Medical Staff at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
A hospitalist is a doctor who works exclusively in a hospital focusing on the general medical care of hospitalized patients.
Dr. Hartman received his medical degree from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine in Little Rock, and completed his residency at St. Francis Family Medicine Residency in Indianapolis.
Most recently, he served as a hospitalist and medical director at St. Francis Hospital. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Indiana Academy of Family Physicians.
