Willa E. Kieffner, age 96, of Haysville, Indiana, passed away at 5:40 p.m. on Sunday (September 11, 2016) at The Timbers of Jasper.

kieffner-willaWilla was born on February 4, 1920 to Henry and Ada (Drexler) Hoffman. She married Lenis H. Kieffner on November 25, 1941 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville, Indiana. He preceded her in death on November 18, 2008.

Willa was a housekeeper and did in-state and out-of-state domestic work during her youth.

She was a life member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville, Indiana.

She enjoyed quilting, cooking, gardening, small animals, and being very sociable with friends, neighbors, and relation.

Preceding her in death besides her husband are one daughter, Marilyn Harder, one son, Duane Kieffner, and one brother, Harold Hoffman.

Funeral services for Willa E. Kieffner will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday (September 15, 2016) at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, in Haysville, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday (September 14, 2016) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, and one hour before services at the church.
