Cletus L. Schepers, age 74, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 9:25 a.m. on Friday (October 14, 2016) at Cathedral Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana.

schepers-cletusCletus was born in Jasper, Indiana on April 23, 1942, to Leonard and Rose (Ebert) Schepers. He married Virlee Hochgesang on October 1, 1988 in Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana.

Cletus was in the Army National Guard. He worked at Aristokraft and Jasper Cabinet and in light maintenance at Holy Family School and Old National Bank.

He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper and a past member of the Jasper Moose and the Jasper Outdoor Recreation.

He enjoyed walking and listening to country music.

Preceding him in death are three brothers Leroy, Clarence, and Ralph Schepers.

Funeral services for Cletus L. Schepers will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday (October 18, 2016) at Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, with entombment to follow in the Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper. The American Legion Post #147 will conduct military grave site rights.

Friends may call from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday (October 17, 2016) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at the church on Tuesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
