John R. Wyland, age 89 of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 6:20 a.m. on Friday (September 30, 2016) at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper, Indiana.
John was born in Pleasanton, Kansas on September 15. 1928 to Michael and Florence (Aktinson) Wyland. He married Claire Morley in July of 1952. She preceded him in death on April 21, 2009.
John was a boilermaker who traveled the world for Foster-Wheeler Construction Corporation.
He enjoyed fishing and boating.
