Michael “Soupie” Fischer, age 56 of Jasper, Indiana passed away at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, (October 30, 2016) in the University of Louisville Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

fischer-michaelHe was born in Jasper, Indiana on February 14, 1960 to Edwin and Evelyn (Vonderheide) Fischer.

He enjoyed his children, grandchildren, gardening and fishing and was a Handy man and fixer-uper. He especially enjoyed grilling out.

Michael formerly was a truck driver and a caretaker at his home.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Jasper outdoor recreation.

Funeral services for Michael “Soupie” Fischer will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, (November 2, 2016) in St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in Enlow Jasper City Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
