The Jasper Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance as they look for the driver of a vehicle that struck an unoccupied vehicle parked on Clay Street near Fifth Street Wednesday.

Police say at about a quarter till 12 noon yesterday a cross over SUV was struck while at that location and the driver of the unknown car drove away.
Police described the suspect vehicle as a tan or light-colored older model passenger car (possibly a Buick.)

They say the vehicle may have damage to the passenger rearview mirror. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Jasper Police Department at 812-482-2255 or the department’s anonymous tip line at 812-481-COPS.
