The Jasper Jaycees and the Jasper Chamber of Commerce have announced the winners of the 2016 Christmas Outdoor Home Decorating and Lighting Contest for the City of Jasper.
Entries were judged last Friday, December 9th, and prizes were awarded to first, second, and third place winners in each category.
First place in the Family Theme catagory went to:
Cindy Cantu 2624 Birk Drive, Jasper IN
2nd was John & Rachelle Huebner 1715 Sugar Pine Drive, Jasper IN
Chris Woodard of 936 N Evergreen Drive was 3rd.
Most Original:
1st place Bret Astrike 4213 Baden Strasse,
2ND place Ron & Barbara Rasche of 2555 Birk Drive,
3RD Jim Blessinger 1748 Newton Street,
Most Traditional:
1st place: Bob & Carla Moynahan of 185 North Skyview Drive,
2ND place Kevin & Melanie Powell 2165 Cobblestone Road,
3RD Brice & Gwen Grinstead of 820 N Savannah Drive.
And the Best Use of Lights catagory:
1st place went to Ed Thunehorst of 51 Oakbrook Court,
2nd place Nick Blue of 1091 W 36TH Street,
And 3RD Kuper & Wylee Kippenbrock 2905 Leslie Drive,
