Erin J. Dawson, age 44, of Santa Claus, Indiana, passed away at 9:01 p.m. on Sunday (January 22, 2017) at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
Erin was born in Rushville, Indiana on January 13, 1973, to Harry and Susan (Clemons) Dawson.
Erin was an Army Veteran.
He worked at H & H Auto Sales in Jasper.
He enjoyed spending time with his daughter.
Surviving are one daughter, Elena Dawson, Louisville, KY, fiancé, Amy (Ward) Laughlin, Santa Claus, IN, one sister, Ann Dawson-Baker, Ft. Walton Beach, FL, and his grandfather, Ernie Clemons, Greensburg, IN.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Harry and Susan Dawson, maternal grandmother, Betty Clemons, and paternal grandparents, Florence and Harry Dawson.
A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper with burial to follow at a later date. Pastor Wineinger will officiate.
A visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 p.m., on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
