A more than three week investigation of a possible internal theft at a local banking institution has ended with the arrest of a Huntingburg woman on felony charges.

Huntingburg Police say back on March 7th they were contacted by the manager of the Huntingburg branch of German American Bank who told police of the possible internal theft.

An investigation by police led to the arrest of 18-year old Sol Martinez Castellanos of Huntingburg.

The investigation concluded that Castellanos had commited acts of forgery, theft and fraud.

Police say an undetermined amount of money was taken pending the close of the investigation.

Castellanos was placed under arrest Thursday afternoon around 12:30 and was later booked into the Dubois County Security Center in Jasper for Felony counts of Forgery, Theft and Fraud.
