A Huntingburg man was arrested for child molestation after an initial investigation by the Huntingburg Police Department with assistance from the Dubois County Department of Child and Family Services.

On Tuesday, April 25th, Detective Sergeant Christian Gogel arrested 37 year old Adam Edward Humbert of 805 E. 8th St., Huntingburg, on a charge of child molesting after conducting an interview  with Humbert at the Huntingburg police station.

Humbert had been asked to come to the police station and speak with investigators due to further investigation into a complaint they received in March of this year from the Dubois County Department of Child Family Services in reference to the well being of a 4 year old girl.

Humbert was taken into to custody and is being charged with Child Molesting a Level 4 Felony. He was taken to and lodged into the Dubois County Security Center where he is being held without bond.
