Paul E. Allen, age 64, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper, Indiana.

Paul was born in Washington, Indiana, on December 1, 1952, to Thomas Jefferson and Delores (Harder) Allen.

He was a 1971 graduate of Barr-Reeve High School.

Paul was a United States Air Force Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War Era.

He was a truck driver for Boyd Trucking for several years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his mother, Delores Allen, Jasper, IN, four daughters, Melissa Allen, Washington, IN, April Harp (Nick), Jasper, IN, Amber Sutton (Travis), Jasper, IN, Loretta Allen, Jasper, IN, 18 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one sister, Janet Doscher (Kevin), Cannelburg, IN, two brothers, Lonnie Allen (Carolyn), Washington, IN, Terry Allen (Pamela), Jasper, IN.

Preceding him in death are his father, Thomas Jefferson Allen, one son, Timothy Allen, and one granddaughter, Audra Bath.

A grave site service for Paul E. Allen will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Bethany Cemetery in Washington, Indiana. The American Legion Post #121 will conduct military grave site rights.
