Betty A. Conway, 84, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away at 9:03 a.m., Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at her residence.

She was born March 19, 1933, in Selvin, Indiana to Hilbert and Alberta Dixie (Bright) Allen; and was married to W. Fred Conway, Sr. on June 16, 1953, in Washington, D.C. She formerly worked as a secretary at the Pentagon for the naval admiralty; was a full-time editor of Discipleship books and materials; and was co-founder and bookkeeper of Conway Enterprises. Betty was a member of Christ Gospel Churches International, Inc., was a church choir accompanist, and enjoyed interior decorating and photographing sunsets and butterflies. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Fred Conway, Sr., who died September 13, 1999; and three half-siblings, George Allen, Claire Allen Bruder and LaVerne Allen.

She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, Rick (Jan) Conway of Sellersburg and Allen (Suzanne) Conway of Floyds Knobs; one daughter and son-in-law, Wini (Sol) Arledge of Floyds Knobs; two sisters, Shirley Ashby of Floyds Knobs and Doris Willis of Fort Wayne; by six grandchildren and five great grandchildren with one on the way.

Funeral services for Betty A. Conway were held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg followed by entombment in the family mausoleum at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
