Local law enforcement and Emergency Medical Crews were called to the report of a possibly deceased body that was found in a home in the Birdseye area earlier this afternoon.

According to scanner traffic Dubois County Dispatch received several 911 calls about the  incident along Hartsgravel Road that was first reported around a quarter after 2 pm.

Deputies with the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department and Memorial Hospital EMS responded to the scene. An Indiana State Police Crime Scene Technician was called to the scene as well.   

We will have more information about this afternoon’s incident in Birdseye when details become available.
