Ashley R. Stephens, age 25 of Jasper, Indiana, passes away at 10:59 p.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2017 from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Ashley was born in Huntingburg, Indiana, on July 23, 1992 to Michael John and Rachel (Stephens) Hopper.
She was a member of the ASPCA.
She liked helping people. She enjoyed listening to ICP music, baking, and she loved animals, especially dogs.
Surviving are her mother, Rachel Hopper, Turlock, CA, her father, Michael John Hopper, Bakersfield, CA, husband, John Kersh, Jackson, MS, three sons, Timothy, Ace, and Preston Kersh, Indianapolis, IN, three sisters, Cassandra Contreras (Luis), Indianapolis, IN, Candace Black (Randy), Jasper, Summer Schmidt (Gerald III), Indianapolis, IN, three brothers, Michael Hopper, Jasper, Josh Blume, Indianapolis, IN, and Levi Hopper, Otwell, IN, several nieces and nephews, and paternal grandfather, Neil Hopper, LaCrosse, WI.
Preceding her in death are her sister, Autumn Hopper, her paternal grandmother, Charlotte Hopper, and maternal grandparents, Paul and Bonnie Stephens.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
