Officials with the City of Huntingburg say the Huntingburg Municipal Swimming Pool will close for the season tomorrow August 9th.

The Splash Park will remain open daily from 8:30 am till 8:30 pm. Admission is free. The Splash Park will close for the season on Friday, September 15.

In Jasper, the Jasper Municipal Swimming Pool will remain open though this weekend but with school beginning Thursday of this week, hours will be altered a bit.

The pool will be open under regular hours today (Tuesday) and Wednesday from 12 noon till 7 pm. Thursday and Friday from 3:30 till 7 pm. And back to normal hours of noon till 7 pm this Sunday August 13th. The Jasper pool will be closed for the season after Sunday.

Locally classes at all four Dubois County School Corporations – Northeast Dubois, Southeast Dubois, Southwest Dubois and Greater Jasper Consolidated School as well as North Spencer Schools will begin classes this Thursday August 10th.
