Helen M. Spinner, age 87, of Huntingburg, passed away at 1:25 a.m., on Thursday, November 23, 2017, at the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.

She was born August 12, 1930, in Huntingburg, Indiana to William and Ethel (Rogers) Ingle; and married Harold E. Spinner on August 10, 1947, at the Huntingburg Methodist Church. Helen worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital as a cashier in the business office. She was a member of the Huntingburg United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women; and enjoyed playing cards with her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold E. Spinner, who passed away January 8, 2005; two brothers, Jack Ingle and Roger Ingle; and two sisters, Jean Singer and Louise Schoppenhorst.

Helen is survived by three children, David L. (Connie) Spinner of Ferdinand, Ind., Suzanne (Jim) Stovall of Lilburn, Georgia, and Denny (Shari) Spinner of Huntingburg, Ind.; by eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Helen M. Spinner will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. The Reverend Lee Campbell will officiate at the service.
