Last night at around 9 PM, Officers with the Jasper Police Department were dispatched to 301 W 14th Street in Jasper in reference to someone appearing to be extremely intoxicated and stumbling around on a porch that was not their own.

Upon officer’s arrival, the male subject had left on foot. Officers then located hypodermic needles and other paraphernalia on the porch. Officers made contact with the male subject, identified as Jordan Cochran of Jasper.

Cochran was lodged into the Dubois County Security Center and charged with nine Level 6 Felony counts of hypodermic needle possession and one count of Public Intoxication.
