Clesta G. Stetter, age 84, of Huntingburg, passed away at 11:35 p.m., on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at Brookside Village in Jasper.

She was born November 21, 1933, in Huntingburg, Indiana to Cyrus and Geneva (Norton) Winkler; and married Walter William Stetter on September 3, 1955, at St. Mary’s Church in Huntingburg.  Clesta was an office and secretarial employee at the Huntingburg Clinic and the optometry office of Dr. Rehl.  She was a member of the Huntingburg United Methodist Church and the V.F.W. Post #2366 Auxiliary.  Clesta was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter W. “Bill” Stetter, who passed away on March 23, 2002; and two brothers, Lewiell Winkler and Lowell Winkler.

She is survived by two sons, Brett (companion, Janet Kramer) Stetter of Evansville and Blake Stetter of Huntingburg; two daughters, Karen Nordhoff of Huntingburg and Kathi Burke of St. Anthony; by seven grandchildrenand six great grandchildren.

A private funeral service for Clesta Stetter will be held at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg followed by burial at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg.  Pastor Lee Campbell will officiate at the service.  There will be no public visitation.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to:  Heart to Heart Hospice.  Condolences may be shared with the family online at:  www.nassandson.com
