Dawna L. Camden, age 55, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper.

Dawna was born in Washington State on January 30, 1971, to Samuel and Jodi (Duerksen) Camden.

She was a 1988 graduate from Crystal Lake High School in Crystal Lake, Illinois. She served in the United States Army as a medic. After she served, she received her Nursing Degree and practiced as a Registered Nurse until 2013.

She was a member of the NRA.

Dawna loved her beloved dog, Sadie and rescuing birds. She enjoyed music, watercolor paintings, ceramics, and playing video games.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Sinning and son-in-law, Stephen Melton, Vincennes.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Wendy Duerksen.

A Celebration of Life for Dawna L. Camden will be held at a later date.
