Dolores E. Uebelhor, age 73, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 11:00 p.m. on Monday, April 30, 2018, at home.

Dolores was born in Schnellville, Indiana, on November 8, 1944, to Martin and Leona (Verkamp) Uebelhor.

She was a graduate of St. Ferdinand High School.

She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish – Sacred Heart Campus and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper.

Dolores was a secretary and bookkeeper for many years at Habig Sales and Brosmer Surveying.

She enjoyed dancing, especially line dancing, doing crossword puzzles, playing Scrabble, hiking and walking.

Surviving are three sisters, Mary Jane Brinkman, St. Anthony, IN, Sr. Mary Cheryl Uebelhor, OSB, Ferdinand, IN, Virlee (Daniel) Wendholt, St. Anthony, IN, one brother, James H. (Alvenia) Uebelhor, Schnellville, IN, many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death is one sister, Helen Uebelhor, who passed away as a child.

Funeral services for Dolores E.  Uebelhor will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Schnellville, IN, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2018, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, IN.  The family will pray a rosary at 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Divine Mercy Parish, or to the Sisters of St. Benedict.
