Raymond Gramelspacher, age 85 of Jasper, Indiana,  passed away at 11:40 a.m. on Friday, July 13, 2018 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Oakland City, IN.

Raymond was born at Tell City, Indiana on October 22, 1932 to Raymond and Rosa (Brown) Gramelspacher.

Ray retired from Northeast Dubois High School where he taught economics and History for many years.

He received his degree in education from Indiana University.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving from 1952 -1954.

His membership include Indiana Teachers Association, V.F.W. Post # 673 in Jasper and the American Legion Post # 147.

Ray loved playing golf,  IU Basketball and all high school sports.

Four daughters,

Emily Elliott (Max), Winslow, In

Jane Ruth (Lance), Larkspur, O

Pam Vogel (Doug), Franktown, CO

Angie Netterville (Mike), Fort Wayne, IN

Several grandchildren.

Wilma Fischer (Tony), Tell City, IN

Preceded in death are one sister, Delores Little, one brothers, Freddie Gramelspacher.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtlown Chapel in Jasper.  V.F.W. Post # 673 will conduct Military Rites at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral Home. Burial will follow at a later date.
