The Dubois County Highway Department Wednesday afternoon released a list consisting of five rural roadways that have been closed or blocked due to high waters as a result of last weekend’s heavy rains.

They include:

County Road 875 West South of County Road 150 North

County Road 800 West North of County Road 300 South at the River Bottoms

County Road 620 West at Dillon Creek County

County Road 150 South West of Old Huntingburg Road

and Ell Creek Road North of County Road 400 South.

All five roadways are located in Madison Township.

Motorists are asked to please steer clear of these roadways for the time being and try not to remove barricades and not drive through flooded roads.
