The Ireland Knights of Columbus are sponsoring the 5th Annual Remembrance Walk on Saturday, May 11th (Rain or Shine) at St. Mary Church in Ireland. Registration begins at 7:30 am in the Community Center and the walk begins at 8 am. Because this is a remembrance walk and not a race, participants are encouraged to walk a course of less than one mile to reflect, honor, and remember a loved one that has passed away. Following the walk, breakfast and fellowship will follow in the St. Mary Church Community Center- Ireland.

Entry fee is $20, which includes a t-shirt and a full breakfast. Registration must be received by May 5th to guarantee a t-shirt. Entries can be mailed to:

All proceeds from the Remembrance Walk will be donated to the Ireland K of C for their Teddy Bear Project. Since 2013, the Ireland K of C has donated over 3,500 teddy bears to children in situations of need. Bears are donated to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center Emergency Department, Memorial Hospital’s Urgent Care Center, Crisis Connection, Child Protective Services, Local Law Enforcement Agencies and others.
