71-year-old Elaine F. Gerber of Ferdinand, passed away on Friday, July 19th at Scenic Hills Care Center in Ferdinand.
Elaine was born March 23, 1948, in Cincinnati, OH to John and Lorraine (Leinenbach) Miller. She married Tom Gerber on December 18, 1982, in Huntingburg. He preceded her in death on November 1, 2009.
Elaine was a member of Christ the King Parish, St. Ferdinand Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Janelle (Darrell) Pund of Bretzville and Suzanne Jamniczky of Ferdinand; three stepsons, Steve (Missee) Gerber of Dale, Tony (Angie) Gerber of Ferdinand and Scott Gerber of Evansville; one stepdaughter, Jan Schneider of Jasper; one brother, John Miller of Texas; two grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren. Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Gerber and a stepson, Andy Gerber.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:00 AM in St. Ferdinand Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday at the church from 8:00 AM until time of services. Online condolences may be shared at www.becherfuneralhome.com
