The Huntingburg Police are asking for the public’s help in finding an armed robbery suspect.

20-year-old Collin Thomas of  Jasper was last seen wearing all black with a black Disney hoodie turned inside out, driving black four-door 2007 Suzuki Forenza with Indiana plate 839RCD.

Police say Thomas robbed the Fast Track Marathon gas station at 1307 North Main Street on Monday with a pump shotgun at approximately 8:16 pm Monday, July 1st.

Thomas demanded money from the register and attempted to break into the clerk’s office, but the clerk surrendered the cash drawer.

Thomas then grabbed the cash and fled before officers arrived.

Investigators were able to use security cameras to identify Thomas and the vehicle

At this time, Collin Thomas is considered armed and dangerous.

Earlier on Facebook, Thomas posted “I love hide and seek..Always my favorite game.”

And this is not the only time that Collin Thomas has been arrested.

He was arrested on June 5th after allegedly threatening people at the Jasper Walmart.

Last month the police say he stole a hundred dollars from someone and threaten to shoot them.

For this incident, he faced charges of theft, intimidation, and disorderly conduct.

 

ORIGINAL STORY:

At approximately 8:16 PM on Monday, July 1, 2019, the Huntingburg Police Department was dispatched to the Fast Track Marathon gas station at 1307 North Main Street for an armed robbery. A masked man wearing all back entered the store armed with a pump shotgun and demanded money from the register.  The suspect attempted to break into the clerk’s office door, but the clerk surrendered the cash drawer.  The suspect grabbed the cash and fled the scene before officers arrived.  Investigators reviewed the security cameras and were able to identify the vehicle and suspect.  The Huntingburg Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance locating the following suspect and vehicle:

Jasper

DOB: 05/14/1999

Last seen leaving the scene driving a Black four-door 2007 Suzuki Forenza with Indiana plate 839RCD.

Last seen wearing all black, with a black Disney hoodie turned inside out.

At this time Collin is considered armed and dangerous. If you have any information on Collin’s whereabouts please call 911 or contact Detective Stivers with the Huntingburg Police Department 812-482-4111.  Also, we encourage Collin to cooperate with his family and turn himself in peacefully.
