3 people were arrested in a drug bust in Paoli.

44-year-old Aaron “Gus” Kellams, 37-year-old Kimberly Scott and 64-year-old Richard Wilder were arrested on July 23 during a traffic stop on South East Main Street near Triangle Road, according to a Paoli Police Department press release.

Officers instructed all suspects to exit the vehicle and were detained.

A Deputy and K-9 unit were called in for a free air sniff of the vehicle. The K-9 unit indicated that drugs were present at the time.

Police searched the vehicle and found about nine grams of meth, several controlled substance pills, a digital scale, along with other drug paraphernalia.

This all stems from a March investigation about a suspect involved in distributing and selling meth in Paoli and around Orange County.

When investigating, police learned that a man went to Louisville several times a month for drugs to bring back to distribute around Orange County.

Kellams, Scott, and Wilder are booked into the Orange County Jail.

Kellams is charged with dealing meth and maintaining a common nuisance, Scott is charged with dealing and possessing meth and Wilder is charged with possession of Schedule IV controlled substance and visiting a common nuisance.
