A Jasper woman was arrested on Tuesday afternoon after trying to steal items from a home.

The Jasper Police Department received a complaint from a homeowner in the Holy Family area. He told officers there was an unknown female inside his house.

The homeowner stated his surveillance cameras were activated and notified him of movement inside.

After reviewing the footage he called the police.

When police arrived, they found the unknown female, identified as Cassandra ”Cassie” L. Meyer.

Meyer was booked into the Dubois County Security Center on preliminary Level 4 Felony Charge of Burglary.
