Indiana’s unemployment rate slightly declined in July, when compared to the previous month.

The Indiana Department of Workforce Development made the announcement yesterday.

According to the department, the rate was 3.4% percent down from 3.5% percent in June.

The agency says the last time the state’s unemployment was at 3.4% percent was back in April 2018.

For the month of July, the state’s rate was below the national unemployment rate of 3.7% percent.
