Daniel E. Friedman, age 84 of Dubois, Indiana, passed away at 1:28 p.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper, Indiana.
 
Daniel was born in Dubois, Indiana on November 24, 1934 to Edward and Lula (Flick) Friedman.  He married Linda F. Foster on October 5, 1957.
 
He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served at sea.
 
He retired from Indiana Furniture Industries in Dubois.
 
He enjoyed working on old cars, fishing, and playing cards.
 
Surviving are his wife, Linda Friedman of Jasper, two daughters, Diane Stenftenagel (Shane), Jasper, Bridgette Friedman (John Buchanan), Dubois, one son, Keith Friedman (Debbie Gromer), Dubois, four grandchildren, Justin Stenftenagel, Brooke Stenftenagel, Steven Golden, and  Schae Burress, six great grandchildren.
 
Preceding him in death were three sisters, Jessie Chastain, Fern Knies, and Roberta “Babe” Schneider, and one brother, James Friedman.
 
Private services were held at Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home in Jasper, Indiana.
