Jerrie Marta Simpson 90, of Dale, IN. died on September 11, 2019 at Willowdale Village.
Marta was born April 20, 1929 in Indianapolis to Abner and Aria (Thurman) Crews. She was a member of the Gentryville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children Faye Mauzey, Elaine Werne, Cathy Seifert, Beverly Beasley and Phil Simpson, a brother Frank Crews and 16 Grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold, a son Gene Simpson, siblings Fred Crews, June Crews and Lowell in infancy.
Friends may call on Saturday September 14 from 2 PM CST till 7 PM CST at the Fuller Funeral Home in Dale.
Funeral Services are planned for Sunday September 15 at 2 PM CST at the Gentryville United Methodist Church. With burial to follow in the Garden of Memory Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gentryville United Methodist Church building fund, or any organization that funds Alzheimers research.
