A semi truck overturned on Interstate 64 near Warrick County this morning.
According to Indiana State Police, the driver fell asleep at the wheel before the semi turned over. This caused the westbound lane of Interstate 64 to be closed. The driver was trapped in the vehicle, however, he is now free from the wreckage. Indiana State Police do not believe he was impaired.
The driver was taken to the hospital by helicopter. He suffered minor injuries, but officials want to check if anything more serious could be wrong.
