A French Lick man is behind bars in connection with a 2016 murder.

24-year-old Cody Gabrel was arrested without incident on an active warrant this afternoon for the murder of 66-year-old James Bryson.

Bryson was found dead inside a home he shared with his sister at 11387 West County Road 50 South in French Lick on December 27, 2016.

Gabrel is incarcerated in the Orange County Jail on an active warrant for Felony Murder, Murder, and Burglary Resulting in Serious Injury.
