Jason James Schepers, age 44, of Birdseye, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023, in Birdseye.
He was born on June 3, 1979, in Jasper, Indiana to Thomas Lee Schepers and Rose (Wahl) Ibarra. Jason loved helping others by using his carpentry and construction skills. He enjoyed going to shooting matches; playing cards; cooking and grilling. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Lee Schepers.
He is survived by his mother, Rose Ibarra; daughters, Raigan Underhill, Amia Kempf, and Berniece Schepers; siblings, Jeremy (Cathy) Schepers, Joanie (Mauricio) Hernandez, Jennifer (Oscar) Hernandez, Josh (Jody) Hill, Ashley (fiancé: Kamahot Chan) Schepers and Jacob Hill; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Jason Schepers will be held at 1:00 p.m. EST, Monday, November 27, 2023, at Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Nass & Son Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. EST, on Monday prior to the service.
