The Jasper Band Parent Organization is gearing up for its grandest annual fundraising event yet, the Notable Event Auction & Dinner, scheduled for Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the Atrium of the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center in Jasper.
Tailored for those aged 21 and above, this evening promises an exceptional blend of camaraderie, culinary delights, and charitable giving, all aimed at bolstering local students and the Jasper Band programs.
With a fundraising goal set at $30,000, the proceeds will go towards acquiring new uniforms, props, transportation, scholarships, and instruments. Additionally, a portion will be allocated to the Jasper Bands’ Dubois County Community Foundation endowment, ensuring sustained support for music education programs in the region.
The Notable Event auction lineup features an eclectic array of items catering to every budget, ranging from sporting event tickets and themed baskets to local merchandise, gift certificates, and exclusive experiences like bourbon tastings and spa parties.
The festivities commence at 5:00 pm with a vibrant cocktail hour, offering a cash bar and a delectable grazing table. Attendees can begin bidding on coveted auction items while socializing with peers and supporters.
At 6:30 pm, guests will indulge in a sumptuous buffet dinner catered by Phil Barth, followed by the eagerly anticipated dessert auction featuring delectable treats from top-notch local bakers and bakeries. The evening crescendos with a silent auction wrapping up at 7:30 pm, leading into the main event – a lively Live Auction and engaging games.
Tickets for this unforgettable soirée are priced at $50 per person, with a business casual dress code recommended. Attendees are encouraged to bring small bills or cash to partake in the entertaining games sprinkled throughout the evening.
To secure reservations, RSVP by February 17. Tickets may be available at $55 per person after this deadline.
For those unable to attend in person, an Online Auction will be open from February 24 to March 2 at 12:00 pm. Additionally, direct donations are welcomed, payable to ‘A Notable Event’, P.O. Box 948, Jasper, IN 47547.
