Imogene Krohn, age 93, of Oakland City, passed away, Sunday, March 3, 2024, at her home.

 She was born on November 7, 1930 in Velpen to Travis and Perenia (Jones) Cato.  Imogene married Darvin Krohn on June 4, 1949 in Lynnville, Indiana.  She was a member of New Liberty General Baptist Church.  Imogene had been a Sunday School teacher, enjoyed gospel music, taking vacations, camping, doing ceramics and loved her family dearly.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darvin; son, Doyle Krohn; son-in-law, Sonny Barrett; siblings, Yulin Gene Cato, Donald Cato, Wanda Lee and Ruth Helen Cato.

She is survived by her children, Myreon (Nancy) Krohn of Oakland City, Sandy Barrett of Spurgeon, Mack Krohn of Otwell; sisters, Karen (Steve) Haase of Otwell, Sharon (Tony) Hayes of Velpen; grandchildren, Amy (Chris) Satterfield, Travis (Linda) Barrett, Trevin Barrett, Karissa Kelley; and 11 great-grandchildren.

  Services for Imogene Krohn be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. E.S.T. at New Liberty General Baptist Church near Coe with burial to follow in New Liberty Cemetery.  Pastors Bob Deel and Terry Russell will officiate the service. 

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. 

Nass and Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
