Saturday evening the Jasper Police Department was dispatched to Walmart located on North Newton Street in regards to an employee theft call.
After arriving on scene and conducting an investigation it was determined that a Walmart employee, identified as 36 year old Pedro Gonzalez Garcia of Ferdinand, had committed theft by stealing from his employer.
Garcia was arrested and lodged into the Dubois County Security Center on a Class A Misdemeanor Charge of Theft.
