Gerald L. “Jerry” Kuebler, age 87, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away surrounded by family at 11:19 a.m. on Monday, Jume 17, 2024, at Serenity Spring Senior Living in Jasper, Indiana.

Jerry was born in Jasper, Indiana, on June 3, 1937, to Leo and Ardella (Sermersheim) Kuebler.  He married Marje Vonderheide on April 27, 1957, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Huntingburg, Indiana.

He worked as a mechanic for Sternberg Chrysler in Jasper for over 50 years.  He had also previously owned Kuebler Shell Station with his father.

He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper.

Jerry loved going to car shows with his friends and won many awards for his own cars.  He also enjoyed traveling with his wife, Marje, and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving is his wife of 66 years, Marge Kuebler, Jasper, IN, two children, Debbie (Marvin) Beier, Jasper, IN, Scott (Lisa) Kuebler, Jasper, IN, two grandchildren, Emily and Ben, and one great grandson, Oliver.

Preceding him in death is a granddaughter, Rachelle Kelley.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Gerald L. “Jerry” Kuebler will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. (noon) until the 2:00 p.m. Mass time at the church on Friday.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
