Dawn Marie (James) Mullen, 52, of St. Anthony passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, July 19th at her home. Dawn was born on July 4, 1972, in Tell City to Nolan and Betty (Miller) James. She was united in marriage to Michael Mullen on August 6, 1994, in St. Anthony of Padua Church in St. Anthony Church.

Dawn was a certified nursing assistant at Northwood Good Samaritan in Jasper and at The Sisters Of St. Benedict Monastery in Ferdinand. She was also a babysitter for many years and was affectionately known as Mimi. Dawn was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, St. Anthony of Padua Church, and St. Anthony Conservation Club. She enjoyed being with family and friends especially her grandchildren and her babysitting kids. She enjoyed going to races at Salem with Mike and friends.

Surviving are her husband of 29 years, Mike Mullen, and one daughter, Brooke (Cory) Ingram of Holland. Two grandchildren Grant and Warner Ingram. Her mother and father, Nolan and Betty James of Mount Pleasant, IN. Siblings, Chris (Trina) James of Ferdinand, Diane (Brian) Sturgeon of Eckerty, Anita (Pat) Borden of Birdseye, and Brian (Caryn) James of Branchville. She was preceded in death by her Maternal grandparents, Dorotha& Gabe Miller, and her Paternal grandparents, Clarice & Ivan James. Her father-in-law, Tom Mullen.

 A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in St. Anthony Of Padua Church. Visitation will be on Monday, July 22nd from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand, and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until service time at the church.
