Dollie Louise Weikert, age 69, of Crystal, Indiana, passed away surrounded by family at 4:40 p.m. on Monday, July 29, 2024, at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville, Indiana.

Dollie was born in Huntingburg, Indiana, on August 10, 1954, to Carl and Carolyn (Weber) Vogel.  She married David Weikert on June 7, 1975, at Christ Lutheran Church in Haysville, Indiana.

She was a 1972 graduate of Dubois High School.

Dollie was a homemaker and had owned the Haysville Mini Mall.

She was a member of Christ Lutheran in Haysville, Indiana.

She loved crafting, going to yard sales, thrifting, and spending time with her cats.

She is survived by her husband, David “Buster” Weikert, Crystal, IN, three children, Christopher Weikert, and his girlfriend, Leslie Fuhs, Dubois, IN, Edward (Jami) Weikert, Dubois, IN, Carolyn (Richard) Telford, Hickory, NC, three grandchildren, Katelyn Weikert, Reese Weikert, and Avery Fuhs, and one brother, Larry (Brenda) Vogel, Jasper, IN.

Preceding her in death is one brother, Roger Vogel.

A funeral service for Dollie Louise Weikert will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2024, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow in Crystal Community Cemetery.  Rev. Timothy Kraemer will officiate.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service time at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel on Friday.
