Gerald “Gene” Humbert, age 60, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
Gene was born in Jasper, Indiana, on March 26, 1964, to Fred and Mary (Brosmer) Humbert.
He worked in lawn care for several years.
He was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church – St. Isidore Parish in Dubois, Indiana.
Surviving is his sister, Kathy (Mark) Stapelton, Huntingburg, IN, his brother, Kenny (Shelly) Humbert, Shoals, IN, nieces and nephews, Megan, Morgan, Mason, Thomas, and Sarah, and great nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are his parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Gerald “Gene” Humbert will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 2024, at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Dubois, Indiana, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass time at the church on Monday.
