Patricia “Pat” June Fritch, age 93, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 7:13 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2024, surrounded by family at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana.

Pat was born in Chicago, Illinois, on August 19, 1930, to Victor and Celia (Schnell) Seger.  She married James “Jim” L. Fritch on April 19, 1952, in Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana.  He preceded her in death on February 17, 2020.

She was a 1947 high school graduate of the Academy of the Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand, Indiana.  She attended college at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. 

She was a homemaker and member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, Jasper D of I, Jasper German Club, Philharmonic Music Club, and a founding member of the Jasper Community Arts.

Pat enjoyed golfing, tennis, bowling, cards, music, and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are five children, David Fritch, Karen (Bill) Sermersheim, Michael Fritch, Dan (Sara) Fritch, and Andy Fritch, all of Jasper, IN, 12 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia J. Fritch will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper, Indiana.

A visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, Indiana, and one hour before services at the church from 9:00-10:00 a.m. on Saturday.  The D of I will pray a rosary at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday.
