Isaiah Levi “Bubba” Goodman, age 13, of Celestine, Indiana, passed away surrounded by family at 1:04 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

Isaiah was born in Jasper, Indiana, on January 6, 2011, to Stan and Karla (Ruckriegel) Goodman.

He attended Northeast Dubois Junior-Senior High, where he was a member of the Archery Club.

He was a member of St. Isidore Parish – St. Celestine Catholic Church in Celestine, Indiana, where he was a Master of Ceremonies trained server, and involved in youth ministry. 

Isaiah enjoyed Lego building, video games, hunting, fishing, boating, camping, spending time with family and friends, and playing with his dogs.

Surviving are his parents, Stan and Karla Goodman, Celestine, IN, one brother, Elijah Goodman, Celestine, IN, maternal grandparents, Scott and Lisa Ruckriegel, Loogootee, IN, paternal grandparents, Paul and Cheryl Burkhart, Celestine, IN, maternal great grandmother, Theresa Berry, Loogootee, IN, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceding him in death is one aunt, Alicia Holden.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Isaiah Levi Goodman will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 23, 2024, at St. Celestine Catholic Church in Celestine, Indiana, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 2:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, Indiana.  The parish will pray a rosary at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
