Patrick “Bruce” Jarboe, age 71, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville. 

Bruce was born in Jasper, Indiana, on March 9, 1953, to William “Art” and Joan “Joanie” Jarboe. He married Pamela Schitter on September 13, 1975, in St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland, Indiana.

He was a 1971 Jasper High School graduate.

He retired from Kimball after 30+ years of service.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Jasper Rifle and Gun Club, Jasper Outdoor Recreation, Jasper Football Boosters, and the Jasper Moose Lodge #1175.

Bruce was a huge Jasper Band and Athletics supporter. He was an avid IU sports fan. He enjoyed INDYCAR racing, golfing, volleyball, shooting, hunting, camping, bourbon, and spending time with family and friends. 

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Pam Jarboe, Jasper; daughter, Emily Meyer, Jasper; son, Adam (Taylor) Jarboe, Newnan, Georgia; six grandchildren, sister, Bridgette (Mike) Bartley, three brothers; Byron (Ruth) Jarboe, Brent (Sarah) Jarboe, and Brady (Connie) Jarboe.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, William Arthur Jarboe III who died in infancy.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Patrick “Bruce” Jarboe will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
